Monmouth County Freeholders Waste $30,000

on Gun Buy-Back Scheme

The Monmouth County Freeholders have wasted $30,000 on a gun buy back scheme.  Current Freeholder Tom Powers has proclaimed the program "very successful". However how is success measured? If the goal of the program was to distribute $30,000, it was indeed a very successful. If the goal of the program was to reduce crime, it was a dismal failure.

The Libertarians of Monmouth County have staged a protest at each and every gun buy back site. The most recent, and last one was held at the Aberdeen Township Police Station.
